Precious pets, spoilt hounds and prized pooches, 'mutts & munchkins' would like to welcome you all! But please do read through our rules and requirements beforehand and do not hesitate to get in touch with any additional questions.

All are welcome but the licence we hold currently only allows us to board 2 extra dogs and restricts us from boarding certain breeds* plus we do ask for all canines to be 16 weeks and over, be fully house-trained, up to date with their flea/worm treatments & vaccines and of course be well-behaved and good with other dogs. Also, we only accept boys that are neutered and for obvious reasons do we ask for girls not to be in heat when they visit us.
In addition to the regular vaccines, (proof must be provided that your dog has current vaccinations against Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Adenovirus, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis) it is advised that your dog has been treated against Mortadella Kennel Cough - especially when there will be dogs from different households boarding together.
We have plenty of food (by rùn dogfood) which is hypoallergenic and cold pressed which is very safe for deep chested breeds because there is less risk of 'bloat'. We are of course more than happy to share but in case of (extremely) fussy eaters, allergies and/or in case of extra sensitive tums, we recommend that you bring your own. Also please make sure that your dog is wearing a well fitting and comfortable collar with ID-tag for when we go on outings, a lead is optional.
All dogs will be wearing an additional 'mutts & munchkins' ID tag during their stay and all meals are served in our own ceramic bowls from either 'mason cash' or 'cloud7, unless guests prefer their own, then you are most welcome to bring these too. Please note that for insurance purposes all dogs will initially be taken on an individual one-one-one walk and I will always walk everyone on a (long) lead unless I have written permission from the owners and/or I am certain about the dogs' recall.
Of course, I will do my utmost to make your dog feel at ease and at home but sometimes a little comfort from home is required to help settling in, especially if staying overnight. I find most dogs adjust really quickly and it usually only takes a few minutes up to an hour for them to feel completely at ease but for the first night you could bring a favourite toy, blanket or treat which will then be kept separate and hidden from 'nosy companion guests' in order to keep these items clean and not smelling of 'other dogs', for the remainder of their stay.
We also have crates available for those who prefer these and plenty of super-comfy dog beds from the famous brand 'cloud7', and plush blankets, a plump sofa, lots of toys and of course exclusive complimentary treats all come as standard too.
And as an exclusive treat, should your dog be staying with us on their own (or our guest hounds') birthday, we will offer a special 'party-treatment' with a real home-made (dog safe) 'pup' cake and a birthday photo/video-update (inclusive of party-hat-and festive bunting) via e-mail at no extra cost!
Last but not least, mutts & munchkins are here to provide unconditional care and devoted attention together with the affection and companionship of both myself and of course the mutts & munchkins' host dogs Deacon, Dotty and Donald.
Please feel free to contact me for a meet and great if you would like to come and check out our new premises and meet the host hounds.
If you and your pup like what you see, I will send you a booking form (for insurance purposes), and as soon as I have received this together with the copy of the vaccination records, your dogs can start looking forward to a stay filled with fun and of course care (and treats)!
